Tony Kolton co-founded Logical Information Machines (LIM), the parent of MarketHistory.com, in 1988, after market crash of '87 thaught him the value of in-depth knowledge of historical market activity and resulting in creation of its proprietary Market Information Machine (MIM) software. Morningstar Inc. purchased LIM in late 2009. MarketHistory.com was launched to give every investor access to the knowledge and profits of MIM's software at fraction of the cost of commercial licence.
